Lecture Recording and Transcription

Record in your browser, upload audio, or both.

StudyFlow converts supported lecture recordings into text. You can record a lecture directly in the StudyFlow website using your computer's microphone, or upload an audio recording you already have.

How a recording becomes study material

  1. Record or upload — Capture the lecture in your browser or upload an audio file.
  2. Transcription — StudyFlow converts the supported recording into text.
  3. Summary and notes — AI writes a summary and lecture notes from the transcript.
  4. Your class library — The recording, transcript, and notes are stored with your class.

Notes on accuracy and permission

  • Automatic transcription is not perfect — always compare the transcript against the actual lecture where accuracy matters.
  • Only record lectures when you are allowed to. Follow your school's and instructor's recording policies.
  • You can delete any recording at any time, which also removes its transcript.
